“You can bomb the world into pieces but you cannot bomb it into peace”
It is with complete and utter disregard for those who died to keep the ‘Republic for which it stands’ that Mr. Obama declared himself sole Emperor of this country in his speech to the people on Saturday.
In case you did not hear one of the most historical speeches in the history of the United States ever given, here is the one line summation according to our Commander in Chief.
We all now live in a self declared Dictatorship.
This man has unilaterally declared that he has the sole power and exclusive authority, even if Congress does not approve and/or the people of this country completely reject his referendum, to go ahead and ‘punish’ (his words) and kill others with our military might to show others and the world that killing others is so horribly wrong!
We need to be speaking of comparisons in this country now to Hitler, Mussolini, Mao, Ghengis Khan, et al. not some form of ‘free enterprise’ or ‘form of democracy’ or the ‘lifting yourself up by your own boot straps equal opportunity capitalism or other ‘ism’s’.
No more veiled unity reference to building a ‘coalition of the willing’ or going through the United Nations security council (which we set up) to go to war.
Our self proclaimed enforcer has now declared, for all to hear and understand that it is he, and he alone. with sole power to say who will live and who will die on this planet, with his Nobel Peace prize worn proudly around his neck.
This is a direct result of this nations complete lack of balls to hold accountable the previous President for the fabricated lies and absolute falsehoods about Iraq having weapons of mass destruction, which have led to the killing of over a million people in that country, which still goes on to this day.
From Aug. 31, 2013. President Obama’s Statement on Syria
‘Now, after careful deliberation, I have decided that the United States should take military action against Syrian regime targets. This would not be an open-ended intervention. We would not put boots on the ground. Instead, our action would be designed to be limited in duration and scope. But I’m confident we can hold the Assad regime accountable for their use of chemical weapons, deter this kind of behavior, and degrade their capacity to carry it out.”
“Our military has positioned assets in the region. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs has informed me that we are prepared to strike whenever we choose. Moreover, the Chairman has indicated to me that our capacity to execute this mission is not time-sensitive; it will be effective tomorrow, or next week, or one month from now. And I’m prepared to give that order.”
“But having made my decision as Commander-in-Chief based on what I am convinced is our national security interests, I’m also mindful that I’m the President of the world’s oldest constitutional democracy.” (It was a Republic! Mr. Obama, ‘I pledge allegiance to the flag for the Republic for which it stands…’ not a Democracy).
“I’m confident in the case our government has made without waiting for U.N. inspectors. I’m comfortable going forward without the approval of a United Nations Security Council that, so far, has been completely paralyzed and unwilling to hold Assad accountable.”
“Make no mistake — this has implications beyond chemical warfare. If we won’t enforce accountability in the face of this heinous act, what does it say about our resolve to stand up to others who flout fundamental international rules? To governments who would choose to build nuclear arms? To terrorist who would spread biological weapons? To armies who carry out genocide?”
We cannot raise our children in a world where we will not follow through on the things we say, the accords we sign, the values that define us.”
“Yet, while I believe I have the authority to carry out this military action without specific congressional authorization, I know that the country will be stronger if we take this course, and our actions will be even more effective.’
“What message will we send if a dictator can gas hundreds of children to death in plain sight and pay no price? ” Obama on Syria, Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013
Let’s also get very, very clear about this country’s proven historical use of chemical weapons on others when calling out other nations;
“The U.S. government has now admitted its troops used white phosphorus as an incendiary weapon against Iraqis during the assault on Fallujah a year ago. Chemical weapons experts say such attacks are in violation of international law banning the use of chemical weapons. We speak with columnist George Monbiot and the news director of RAI TV, the Italian TV network that produced the film “Fallujah: The Hidden Massacre.”
The U.S. government has now admitted its troops used white phosphorus as an incendiary weapon against Iraqis during the assault on Fallujah a year ago. Chemical weapons experts say such attacks are in violation of international law banning the use of chemical weapons.
Peter Kaiser, of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, said, “Chemicals used against humans or animals that cause harm or death through the toxic properties of the chemical are considered chemical weapons.”
White phosphorus is often compared to napalm because it combusts spontaneously when exposed to oxygen and can burn right through skin to the bone.
Use of generational radiation contamination with Depleted Uranium (DU) in Iraq, courtesy of U.S. armed forces;
The US military’s use of depleted uranium in Iraq has led to a sharp increase in Leukemia and birth defects in the city of Najaf – and panicked residents are fearing for their health. Cancer is now more common than the flu, a local doctor tells RT.
The city of Najaf saw one of the most severe military actions during the 2003 invasion. RT traveled to the area, quickly learning that every residential street in several neighborhoods has seen multiple cases of families whose children are ill, as well as families who have lost children, and families who have many relatives suffering from cancer.
Speaking on the rooftop of her house instead of her laboratory, Dr. Sundus Nsaif says the city has seen a “dramatic rise” in cancer and birth defects since the 2003 US-led invasion of Iraq. Nsaif said the alternative location was chosen because there is an active push by the government not to talk about the issue, perhaps in an effort not to embarrass coalition forces.
“After the start of the Iraq war, rates of cancer, leukemia and birth defects rose dramatically in Najaf. The areas affected by American attacks saw the biggest increases. We believe it’s because of the’ illegal’ weapons like depleted uranium that were used by the Americans. When you visit the hospital here you see that cancer is more common than the flu,” Nsaif told RT’s Lucy Kafanov.
“The war isn’t over. Yes, the Americans are gone, but we are still suffering from the Consequences,” said Leila Jabar, whose three children died because they were born with congenital deformities. She blames radioactive ammunition used by American forces during the war for the health problems of her children. Her only surviving 8-months-old son Ahmed has a nervous system disorder and doctors don’t expect him to survive his first birthday.
Dr. Chris Busby has researched the effects of depleted uranium (DU) in detail. He says the only source of uranium in Iraq was used by American-led forces.
“We went to Fallujah and we found the levels of cancer. We looked at the parents of children with congenital malformation and we did analysis of their hair to see what was inside their hair that might be genotoxic, that might be the sort of thing that can cause congenital malformation. The only thing that we found was uranium. We found uranium in the mothers of the children with congenital malformations,” he told RT.
And U.S. chemical companies, Monsanto, Dow Chemical, et. al supplying nerve and mustard gas to Saddam Hussein of Iraq during the 1980′s and used against Iran killing tens of thousands of men, women and children, this after the very successful use of napalm and Agent Orange in Vietnam by these same U.S. companies, which is still killing Vietnamese people.
“It was not just “third country” sales. The Post article cited a $1.5 million order for pesticide chemicals from Dow Chemical, notorious for its production of napalm and Agent Orange for use in Vietnam. Approval was granted even though the export control officer noted that these chemicals would cause “death by asphyxiation.” That was not all that U.S. companies supplied. In an article titled “Anthrax for Export” (Progressive Magazine, April 1998), William Blum noted that “private American suppliers, licensed by the U.S. Department of Commerce, exported a witch’s brew of biological and chemical materials to Iraq,” including bacillus anthrax, clostridium botulinum and dozens of other pathogenic biological agents. This was detailed in a staff report for U.S. senator Don Riegle of the Senate Committee on Banking on “U.S. Chemical and Biological Warfare-Related Dual Use Exports to Iraq” (7 October 1994). The report notes that these deadly organisms “were not attenuated or weakened and were capable of reproduction,” and it adds: “It was later learned that these microorganisms exported by the United States were identical to those the United Nations inspectors found and removed from the Iraqi biological warfare program.”
and then, directly after this major historical speech declaring himself Dictator in Chief of this country…
“President Obama played golf on Saturday following his major announcement that he had decided the United States should take military action against the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for using chemical weapons on civilians during that country’s civil war.
The president and Vice President Biden left for the course within minutes of his Rose Garden speech in which he asked Congress to first approve such action
And there is much, much more lest anyone not believe these chickens will not come home to roost…….
Obama’s ‘Kill Americans Memo’, Feb. 2012
Barack Obama’s administration had a confidential memo, referred to as the “Kill Americans Memo”, leaked Tuesday, which details the government’s legal justification for killing US citizens with links to Al Qaeda. This memo is a rare look at an incredibly secretive policy under the President’s administration. This memo addresses the use of the controversial drone campaign for attacking U.S. citizens even without intelligence that their Al Qeda ties are active. The document reads:
“The president has authority to respond to the imminent threat posed by Al Qaeda and its associated forces, arising from his constitutional responsibility to protect the country.”
And when we go to war with Syria we will be fighting on the side of…..wait for it…..wait for it….
“While the Americans drone al-Qa’ida to death in Yemen and Pakistan – along, of course, with the usual flock of civilians – they will be giving them, with the help of Messrs Cameron, Hollande and the other Little General-politicians, material assistance in Syria by hitting al-Qa’ida’s enemies. Indeed, you can bet your bottom dollar that the one target the Americans will not strike in Syria will be al-Qa’ida or the Nusra front.”
For those who would like to understand the position of the President of Syria, who enjoys a 70% popularity of his people, here is an excellent article.
Elimination of the competition. Being dictatorial allies with the American juggernaut has become a certain death sentence for those previous ‘friends of the U.S.’ (Hussein, Kadaffi, etc..)
“John Kerry was a frequent visitor of Assad’s over the last few years. Perhaps no one in U.S. politics knows him better than Kerry who was complimentary of Assad as short as 2 years ago when he referred to him as a “very generous man”.
