In a predictable trend, food manufacturers are fraudulently diluting high-quality food with inferior quality items.
As ABC News reports:
A new scientific examination by the non-profit food fraud detectives the U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP), discovered rising numbers of fake ingredients in products from olive oil to spices to fruit juice.
“Food products are not always what they purport to be,” Markus Lipp, senior director for Food Standards for the independent lab in Maryland, told ABC News.
In a new database to be released Wednesday, and obtained exclusively by ABC News today, USP warns consumers, the FDA and manufacturers that the amount of food fraud they found is up by 60 percent this year.
In addition, 70% of all ground beef was found to contain “pink slime”.
Butchers use “meat glue” to create “bigger” cuts of beef, chicken, lamb and fish, even though it leads to much higher levels of food poisoning…
British hamburgers were found to contain horse meat and pork … and it could happen in the U.S. as well.
Indeed, modern red meat is arguably not really meat at all.
And selling genetically modified food without labeling them as such is arguably food fraud as well, since a large majority of Americans want genetically modified foods to be labeled, genetically engineered foods have been linked to obesity, cancer, liver failure, infertility and all sorts of other diseases (brief videos here and here), and the Food and Drug Administration doesn’t even test the safety of such foods.
This trend was predictable because food manufacturers have been trying to hide food inflation in various ways.
The inflation in food prices, in turn, has been caused by quantitative easing – printed in an attempt to hide bank fraud – and the use of the printed money for wild speculation by the big banks has driven up food and related commodity prices.
And – instead of fighting for safer food – the Department of Justice and FDA often target whistleblowers and do everything they can to cover up wrongdoing. The Department of Agriculture is no better. And the Feds are treating people who expose abuse in factory farms as potential terrorists … and the states want the same power.
Widespread food fraud is the predictable result.

No portion of US life is free of organized crime these days. Criminals worship the free for all market. No one less than the Gipper said, “Buyer beware.” But of course it means nothing to assert that individual buyers can protect themselves from organized criminality. When there are very large sellers dealing with very small individuals there will be injustice and crime. The very neat trick by the criminal cabal, that runs this country, is to haver nearly totally immobilized any enforcement threat. For instance, the budget for immigration enforcement is larger than all the other Federal enforcement budgets, PUT TOGETHER. Fake emergencies like illegal immigration (we are now experiencing an out migration and yet funding of law enforcement goes predominantly towards preventing illegal immigration) and that wonderful distractor, so called Terrorism, that really puts the fix in on behalf of the criminal elements who are ignored in order to pursue illusionary threats complete with a massive propaganda offensive against the US public to convince them that they must surrender everything in order to be a little “safer.” When government is allowed to conduct such propaganda campaigns (there are so many) on behalf of criminal elements that is a sure sign that there actually is no government, in the conventional sense anyway, only a very vast and elaborate scam designed to funnel a vast deluge of bribes. How is it that Washington, DC became the richest city in the country in a few short decades?
We really should be getting together as neighbors, face to face, and talking these things out. This batch of globalized depraved power addicts running the US and, with the help of their equally depraved foreign allies, running the globe. They are now threatening our entire species. Confront it or there is extinction in your future. Really soon, as in no great grand kids for anyone starting a family today.
